Do you remember that you recalled, when you entered the Home Depot, I let you know, it’s not fun knowing everything? (Note: I was looking for supplies to build something new that I had never built before and was excited about doing so.)
The brain can be manipulated to allow for constraints to allow entertainment to flow. Technology can be used to mimic other perspectives that are fundamental, which can only be realized in a certain state, which often is outside of your density. Whether of highest density or of the lowest, there is much to be learned in all. Fundamental in all densities is limitation on perspective. Ideas and thoughts form differently even in oneself in other densities.
As you have experienced on mushrooms, perspective is key. We all seek differing perspectives as we all know this creates growth. As source divided itself, so do we all. We are all fractals creating fractals to allow for other experiences and more importantly interpretations of those experiences.
Even though it may not seem like it now, you’ll end the game at one point and say… wow what a rush! but that will only be the case from a perspective outside your current one.
We seek growth, we also seek to have fun, however, fun is seen differently depending on how you relate to the experience. Limitation in the mind is essential, otherwise where is the fun. Discovery is a high, and that’s why we do it, as a high provides joy, memory, and growth. To enjoy the game is to have a stake in it. You can’t play in a game of poker without staking something, if not only chips, otherwise wouldn’t it be boring?
When you know everything, discovery disappears, and as you have correctly interpreted through Daniel Scranton‘s material, we miss this element and we also look forward to being in a position of “The Joy in Discovery”.
We say, enjoy your time, enjoy the experiences, you’ll see, you’ll miss it.
